CortiSlim Burn Review

I’ve been putting this review off as long as possible, simply because I wanted to determine the best possible results and thought it may take some time. With the marketing I have seen by the brand, I truly  figured that I would have something interesting to report in regards to the new CortiSlim line.

I have a small “pouch” of abdominal fat that I know I could deal with on my own BUT I have two toddlers in tow, one hell of a hectic schedule, no gym budget at the moment, I function on too little sleep to dig into that to wake up earlier than my husband for running (I’ve tried) and I could use a bit of help. I have two dogs and two babies under foot while attempting to work out at home so I definitely have to try to maximize the benefits of any work out time that I get. An additional push until such time as my schedule calms slightly would be a welcome help so, when given the opportunity to review these types of products at no charge, I jump on them whenever I can. My review for CortiSlim Burn came as a result of such an offer and I didn’t have to pay for my products.

I love the idea of a supplement that comes as part of a healthy lifestyle choice and not a miracle pill, which the makers are very clear in the fact that CortiSlim is to be used in conjunction with your own healthy choices. I had no issue with that, as we eat a well-balanced, healthy, low-fat, lean protein diet so I just added the pills and made certain to refrain from “cheating” with salty or sweet snacks. I actually found myself more encouraged by the fact that they were selling realistic expectations, as well as essentially forcing personal goals as part of their package.

You’re supposed to take two of the green pills once a day to start, eventually working your way up to 6 pills per day, and then two of the red pills prior to your daily exercise routine. Each bottle contains green tea, caffeine and chromium and these things are all known for assisting with weight loss, although I’m not sure of the levels of each within the formula because they’re not all stated. I can’t exactly gauge how effective they may be, how they compare to regular diet choices or how this brand might stack up against similar products on the market. Green tea and caffeine will help boost metabolism and chromium can assist with appetite suppression, although that’s never been an issue for me, so they all seem to make sense as part of an overall weight management solution. That being said, I also ingest them on a regular basis without this supplement so I’m not certain it had any effect on me. Apparently, research shows that study groups taking CortiSlim burn 35% more fat than those who do not. I didn’t notice a massive energy spike although, when I upped my dosage to the maximum recommended intake, I ended up feeling shaky and exhausted after a few hours. I think I must have had crash-like effects, or I am too sensitive to the caffeine so I reduced it down to my starting dose. I also found that I had difficulty sleeping on the nights when I took the supplement later on in the day; I suppose this is due to the inclusion of time release caffeine. It’s possible others may have better results than I have achieved if they can take the maximum recommended dosage but that was not possible for me.

I was a bit surprised to note that there aren’t really any ingredients that help with cortisol levels or stress management so I’m not sure why the product name directly pertains to something that isn’t targeted. I am not exactly a fan of the branding as a result.

All of this being said, I’m glad I didn’t invest a lot into this product because I haven’t lost more than a pound in the last few weeks. I fluctuate by that much all the time though. I haven’t lost any inches either and my tummy looks just about the same. I can say that, perhaps, I look a little less bloated but not noticeably enough that before and after pictures would demonstrate any results of value. Should you wish to check out the CoriSlim product line here, as I do believe it will probably help you if one of your main issues is appetite suppression, then you can find the website here.

Gah, these just weren’t for me though.

Garcinia Cambogia with green coffee bean.

As some readers may know, I have written a garcinia cambogia review previously, found here, and did not have the best luck with the product.

I was recently sent a bottle of GloryFeel’s brand free to review, which I have used my affiliate link to connect you to further down in this post, and decided that it couldn’t hurt to add the weight loss supplement to my daily regiment. I figured it would be much the same as last time but accepted the opportunity anyway, as there’s no risk to trying these- they’re natural, GMO-free and don’t include any fillers, cholesterol, fat, dairy, sugar, gluten, soy, wheat, peanuts or shellfish. I’m not worried about any of those ingredients but the GMO-free, U.S. made, FDA inspected qualities of the GloryFeel brand are a definite plus for me. Often times, I worry about things coming from overseas where I have no real idea of the authenticity of the ingredients, how things are regulated and how safe the product itself would be.

weight loss pill, diet pill, miracle pill, green coffee beans

With my mind at ease, I have been taking the supplement for just over a week now and it has added green coffee bean extract, potassium and black pepper (the last two are said to be for absorption). Now, I’m sure you’ve probably seen the online buzz surrounding garcinia cambogia but I was more intrigued by the green coffee bean, which is a controversial, widely used ingredient that’s been marketed as a weight loss supplement since the early 2000s. Dr. Oz, of whom I am not the biggest fan, supports this even under FTC scrutiny and reportedly gives this to his family members. Green coffee bean has also been a Health Ingredients Europe conference award winner for Best Ingredient and there are no known side effects relating to its usage. That’s enough to perk my interest!
I started the Isagenix program a week before adding the garcinia cambogia supplement and have been drinking plenty of water but, otherwise, have not changed my lifestyle and exercise routine whatsoever. It has been only dietary additions, yet I do still enjoy a glass of wine or a snack when I want one. Regardless, I have noticed dramatic results; In less than two weeks I am down 9 1/2lbs! I’m thrilled.

I lost 3.2lbs in the first week and the rest of it came off during the second, with the addition of the garcinia cambogia. I didn’t think to measure my waist line because I had not considered that there may be a noticeable change so quickly but my tummy is smaller and my upper thighs are definitely shrinking as well!
I do think Isagenix played a role but GloryFeel’s Carcinia Green Coffee has helped make the journey so much easier for me and I am getting faster results than what can be expected on average with the program. I am a big eater, especially for a lady of my size/stature, and struggle with having only a shake for a meal as part of the plan. I’ve found that the supplement, as noted with previous use, helps suppress my appetite a great deal. I don’t feel hungry and, therefore, don’t have slip ups and “cheat” like I was doing before I started taking the pills on a daily basis. My husband has also noted that I haven’t been “hangry” (his term for being hungry and angry about it, which has happened to me since I was a little girl) at all since starting.

I can genuinely say that this product is working for me, keeping me energized and feeling full. My weight is down, my mood is great and I’m beyond excited about being able to drop almost 10lbs in two weeks. I’ve been struggling to do that for a year now. Clearly, this was far more effective than other brands that I have tried.

Sadly, they do not ship to Canada on a regular basis so my readers from the States are the only ones able to take advantage of this handy weight loss pill for the time being.

Flex Belt, the laziest workout ever

I am writing this while I enjoy a glass off wine and tone my abs.
Hell yeah!
I recently applied to write a review for The Flex Belt and was lucky enough to have this neat, little contraption sent my way. Admittedly, I avoided the thing like the plague for a bit because I was nervous about how it would feel, if I could put it together properly and whether or not I would have to write an awful review for a company that has, thus far, been a pleasure to deal with.
It comes in a lot of pieces, as you can see by just a few of them below;

It was a bit daunting to read all enclosures, assemble things, eye up the patches that protect me from electrocution or discomfort and then cobble my device together but, with great success, I put it in place in all of 2.5 minutes. Lo’ and behold, paint me yellow, I was scared for no reason. Although, which side of the adhesive to put where was not the clearest in the instructions, it was easy enough to figure out and the initial clutter was immediately eliminated once that was finished.
Upon checking out the product site, found here, I discovered that 100% of study participants found that their abs were more toned and more firm while using the Flex Belt. I can agree with that, as I concur even after my third time using this. It gives the exact same overall post-workout “ripped” look that going to a gym would after about 20 minutes. I also like that this product has been cleared by the FDA, it’s been around for over a decade and used by 2 million people. It gives me a bit of a feeling of security, knowing that they haven’t been recalled or anything of that sort.

Upon usage, the sensation is unique and very noticeable but not uncomfortable. It starts like the grumbling of having a big meal and ending with a tingly, targeting crunch. I did find that my entire core was utilized and that it felt as though I was doing a heavier, holding workout by the end of the program. I love the single unit, easy tuck-in remote and started at level 50 (of 150) but was to level 70 by the end of the first program.  I could really feel that it contracted my bottom abs, as well as the top at the same time. What I dislike about this versus a typical at-home routine is that it doesn’t burn fat and, therefore, doesn’t uncover those hidden muscles if you’ve got a lot of flub to work through. I don’t, although I’m not in the best shape ever, but I would recommend doing some cardio along with using the Flex Belt in order to maximize results.

The biggest benefit would have been the fact that I could do whatever I was required to do as a mother, while also targeting an issue area and not having to get down on the floor to do it. Working my abs is nearly impossible with two little girls all over Mum at any given time so this allows me to squeeze in a bit of hidden “me time” during the day. I wore this for a solid hour around my children and had no little ones lifting my shirt, hopping on me or attempting to push buttons. For me, this was a great success and lead to me wanting to wear the belt more often. I also found that the belt targeted my obliques (aka my muffin top) far better than most exercises do and I find it incredibly effective in comparison to what I can do on my own.

For an easy, easily concealed way of squeezing in a bit of toning, it’s got my vote. I’ve taken a “before” photo and, if I notice some really drastic results, I will post the “after” along with it in 6 weeks.
Here’s to a New Year with Flex Belt!

Booty Balm! NuElle Triple Action Anti-Cellulite Concentrate

I’m a woman.
I’m a woman who’s had children.
I’m a woman that’s had children and now has far too much junk in her trunk as a result.
I own it!
That being said, I sometimes wish that I didn’t- or that the maintenance of cette trunk was a bit easier, that’s for sure. Coming across NuElle Triple Action Anti Cellulite Concentrate was intriguing although I’m never sold by the promises on a bottle.
After using this product for the past few weeks, I can honestly say that it works. I would post before and after photos, only I don’t make regular practice of sharing pictures of my behind. I think my hubby would lose his metaphorical shit if My Domestic Dish became My Photographed Tush but, then again, he might not. In any case, no one wants to see my butt right now so here’s another lady’s perfectly sculpted gluteal muscles for your viewing pleasure;

The ingredients listed down the side of that picture are “flub busters” and are supposed to contribute to an overall tightening of the skin, toning in appearance, as well as overall cellulite reduction.

The smell is quite a bit like lemongrass and straight aloe, which is not exceptionally pleasant for me, but it dies down quickly and I would rather it smell like natural ingredients than some heavily perfumed synthetic.
I did enjoy the idea of the airless pump, which means that I don’t have to repeatedly attempt to get the pump to function properly and it comes with a satisfying amount dispersed each time.

The cream is rich and takes a bit to absorb but it leaves a pleasant sensation on the skin once it is applied. The “sauna effect” has been mentioned and it did make me feel a bit clammy or heated in the areas where I put the cream on but it was well worth it due to the end result.
I’ve found, after numerous applications, that it does exactly what it is supposed to and am sold on the effects that it has had to date. If I am being honest, I can’t comment about how well it would work on a lot of cellulite, as I have been fortunate enough to avoid the orange peel look where my buttox is concerned, but I did notice that it has changed the overall size of my bum without any difference in my daily routine. Even my husband has commented, “Your butt looks smaller” more than once since I started using this cream. I’ve only been using it once a day, whereas you’re supposed to use it twice, and am sure I may notice better results when I bump up the applications.

If you want to check it out for yourself, you can find it on Amazon via the photo below and be sure to check out the product page for other reviews. I am not the only person who has had a positive experience and you don’t have to take what I say at face value, of course. It’s good stuff!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
